Landlord admits serious fire safety flouts


A private landlord was given 39 weeks suspended sentence for 18 months and 150 hours unpaid work.
A private landlord was given 39 weeks suspended sentence for 18 months and 150 hours unpaid work.

For putting 5 people at risk for not proving any smoke alarms for the privately rented mid terrace property.

This was reported by a former resident that also mentioned about an uncovered loft hatch.

Even after being issued with a prohibition notice he still rented the rooms out.
